Eddie Noriega’s 2009 EX-L V6 Coupe
With as many cars as we see plastered on social media constantly, it is nice to come across one that does not get posted every single day. This coupe is a nice example of that. We love to see bagged guys ride as low, or if not lower, than a lot of the static guys. Tight fitment with a great ride height is a winning combination in our book. Our Accord of the Month for February 2017 is Eddie Noriega’s 2009 Nighthawk Black Pearl EX-L V6 6-speed coupe.
Not everyone on air suspension drives around at a nearly stock ride height, but few ride around as low as Eddie does. He is putting some of the static guys to shame rolling around like this. Eddie is using AirForce air struts with a manual management system.
With a full Honda Factory Performance lip kit all around, it gives this car look pretty aggressive. When he added the 2014 STI lip under the HFP lip and the side splitters from a 2000 Miata, it made the car look even lower.
We always like to see unique wheels, and Eddie’s are exactly that. He’s running a set of Flux Forged WV8’s and they look killer! He’s running a 20″ x 9.5″ wheel up front and a 20″ x 11″ wheel in the rear. With his super low ride height, 20’s fill the wheel well incredibly well on the coupe. To help keep the alignment on point, Eddie is using the J-Power 3 arm camber kit in the rear.
Under the hood, Eddie has not gone too crazy. He’s added a short ram intake from K&N as well as a throttle body spacer. He helped open up the air flow by upgrading his exhaust as well. We think it’s pretty obvious by the look of the car that performance was not the objective here, and that’s okay in our book!
All in all, this is is a very simple but well executed coupe. Because this one is not plastered all over social media, it’s refreshing to see something we don’t see all the time. We think Eddie has paired a perfect ride height with wheel fitment. If Eddie had an Instagram, we would link it so you could follow him, but unfortunately he does not. Having said that, enjoy these pictures of his beautiful coupe while they’re around. We’d like to give a huge shout out to Saul Serna and Chuii Reyes for the beautiful photography of Eddie’s coupe.
