jman64cola’s 08 accord ex-l coupe project over engineered What all have you modified on your Accord?

So as many of you have heard my accord is in the shop. Not quite sure yet what's going on but fingers are pointing to a stretched timing chain caused by the vtc actuator problem these accords all seem to have.

Cars back and running well. Stretch chain caused by the vtc actuator. 1200 bucks and I have her back.


Had my gold valve cover installed while it was being worked on

Also finshed up wrapping some more interior pieces.

so i heed and hawed about if i wanted to do the rl brake upgrade or just upgrade the stock set up, and i decided to do just upgrade the stock setup to some good drilled and slotted rotors and ceramic pads. so i found a set online that i am happy with and picked them up. should be in next week some time.

i also picked up an oem ambient light setup from a member on Facebook that was parting out so that should be in next week some time as well.

i dont have to many parts left to order for it, for this year.

Made some good progress tonight on the floor for my trunk.




Since it's getting warmer I'll be doing alot more in the coming weeks!!!

Base floor is now complete and ordered the flooring last night. Will be in Monday

Also got my pads and rotors in. Look great and will be installing in the next few weeks once I get my jack stands back.

Started to do a wire tuck on the car while waiting for other things to come in. Actually looks like it won't be to bad at all since they did a good job of grouping the wires together. I will also be doing the hoses and vacuum lines. Just need to pick up some new tubing to do it with.
