Tools for a Retrofit

My main question is what things do you need to open up the headlights assembly and then reseal it so no water and condensation get inside the housing? I've never done a retro or even opened up the housing for that matter. Any help and insight would be appreciated. Thanks guys!!

I opened mine up with a heat gun and screwdrivers and it wasn't the easyest thing to do. I'm going to bake them to put them back together. I'll let you know how it turns out

I used an oven to open my headlights. Around 350 degrees for 8 minutes or so. Screwedrivers will help, but when the housing is hot from being in the oven or under a heat gun, it's really easy to bend and distort the housing. As far as resealing, the process is similar. I took the butyl tape from TRS and lined the housing with it, popped it in the oven to soften the glue, and then pressed them together. C-clamps will also help.
