I'm with you on that love for wrapped roofs. As long as you get your wrap up to (at least) 120 degrees fahrenheit when you apply it, the vinyl wrap will stick properly. I recommend using a 3M 1080 series vinyl wrap to do your roof. I've done it on a couple of cars and am yet to have a problem.

I love the look of a coloured car, with dark tint, a wrapped roof, and body lines that flow. I think it looks sweet!

I love the way it looks, but what about fading? and i was told if the wrap gets scratched up you can buff that out.. I guess you could just redo the wrap. I'm planning on just painting my roof black

The 3M wrap doesn't fade if its exposed to the sun. If you paint your roof, its gonna be a lot of work to make look nice, and its gonna take a much longer time to do it. I can do a full roof in about 3 hours. Prepping it alone for a paint job would take more than that. Anyways yes you can buff it should you scratch it. You can also wax it. Its truly remarkable if you think about it. Apply it, keep it, when you're done with it, remove it, and you're back to stock.

Let's just go to Ontario so milmast can do our cars! Lol!! Just so I know for future reference, how much of the wrap will I need? 25sqft?

Well they usually are sold by a 5 foot length. I would suggest getting a 5x6 piece of wrap to do it. The wrap alone would cost about 80 bucks. Whenever I do people's cars, i charge em 300 and it looks mint!

I say buy the wrap and go for it. Get a couple squeegees and go to town! its not too difficult as long as you have a bit of patience.
