http://www.valiantsracing.com/brandsPlease post and PM me if you've had any issues with your SRI and I'll try and keep the main post updated with any/all issues. Also If I have missed any manufactures that makes CAI or SRI for our vehicle as well.
If you have a DIY thread share the link and I'll add it here to the main post.

CAIWhat is a CAI?CAI is a Cold Air Intake. It's main function is to draw the most optimal coolest air into the engine for combustion, hence the term
cold air.
Where does the filter sit?For our specific application the CAI filter sits on the LH side right behind the fog lights. This helps you draw in cool air that is traveling beneath the vehicle.
Benefits of CAI:Slightly more power in higher spectrum of rpm range. Air is more dense which cooler air = more power.
Negatives of CAI:The filter sits low which increase the chance of sucking/absorbing water and hydro-locking the engine. More components = heavier and more things to go wrong. Takes longer for air to travel from filter to engine.
SRIPhoto cred to BigwillyWhat is a SRI?SRI is a Short Ram Intake. It's main function is to draw air quickly to the engine but less restrictive than stock.
Where does the filter sit?In the engine bay typically. For the 8th Gen application it sits right behind the battery.
Benefits of SRI:Slightly more power in lower spectrum of rpm range. Air gets to engine quicker. Less prone to hydro-locking engine. Lighter weight compared to CAI and stock.
Negatives of SRI:Sucking in warmer air compared to CAI. Air is less dense. Some intakes comes with a heat shield to block off engine bay air. Some people build a custom heat shield.
Issues From Community:Injen -
Big LrG In the past some people were getting CEL's from the Injen intake system, I never had the issue. I had a personal experience driving in heavy rainfall and getting close to sucking in water. I pulled over and had the car towed home to prevent from any damage. Checked the filter the next day (after rainfall) and surely the filter was wet. It pushed me to switch over to a SRI.
