The 3M wrap doesn't fade if its exposed to the sun. If you paint your roof, its gonna be a lot of work to make look nice, and its gonna take a much longer time to do it. I'm with you on that love for wrapped roofs. As long as you get your wrap up to (at least) 120 degrees fahrenheit when you apply it, the vinyl wrap will stick properly.
