After getting a tune I am considering doing like a 1 inch drop on my car. Any thoughts and pics on what it looks like for the coupe? Also what are some lowering springs you guys recommend! Thanks!

Most people will probably tell you to just save and buy coils. Aftermarket springs will just wear your shocks out faster.

truhart spring and struts. drops about 1.9" or you can get the struts and buy different springs: eibach springs, k sports, teins, megans

a 1 inch drop is barely noticeable and lowering springs will generally wear out the stock struts faster. If you are set on going springs, they are all generally very similar as far as how much they will lower the car, and how they ride. My recommendation would be to save our pennies and get some coilovers...

Thanks for the replies guys! I am really considering coils but they are so expensive compared to springs. The only reason I want to keep the stock wheel for now is they have relatively new tires on them. I think I will just wait this one out! any other thoughts would be nice. I may just save for coil and wheel that way when I replace the tires I can do all at once!

I'd get the coilovers first. lowering the car properly will help it handle better and it will looks better also, even with the stock wheels.

Yeah man I'd recommend saving for coils. I know how high the stock ride height is and it really does suck especially for the inline 4's. I bought lowering springs for my car and I wish I saved and put the money towards coils. I spent about 250 on H&R springs where it dropped my car almost 2" all around. I'm wanting coils badly and WILL be buying them come summer time as I want the car lower.

In the first picture, my car is stock wheels at the stock ride height.

In the second picture, showing the different sizes of the springs between the new H&R's and stock springs.

Last picture is my car about 2 weeks after my springs have been installed so they're just about settled.

I want to make the car lower than that because right now it looks like the stock V6 ride height. I wanna buy BC coil overs. They run about 1000 bucks but when you think of it, they would only have ran me about 750 if I hadn't bought springs in the first place. Now I'm spending 1250 for the suspension setup I want.
