I did a acura tl type s bbk on my 2011 accord v6 exl
Cost me less the 500 dollars I think it's way easier than the rl conversion giving the price on the calipers

08 tl reman calipers 160
Brakes and rotors 80
Heli-coil kit 45
Machine shop 100
Bolts and washer 10.00

So this is what I did I bought the calipers unpainted reman. Sent it to the machine shop had them mill 5mm off the mounting bracket to give the rotor the clearance it needs so it don't touch on the caliper. Once I got the calipers back I installed heli-coil in the thread so I would not have to drill out the ears on the spindle the size coil I used was 7/16 by 14 the I went to ace hardware and bought some 7/16 bolts for the new thread. Also I recommend to use lock tight on those bolts when installing. I went with theregular type s rotor since I didn't know how everything was going to come out.
No need to cut the backing plate I just pushed it out the way. I used same brake hose and had to install a additional wash on the banjo bolt. I think I pretty but added everything I did to accomplish this set up. If you have and questions feel free to ask.

HI I simply had the machine shop mill 5 mm off the bracket and rethreaded and installed heli-coil
In the brackets that way you don't have to drill the factory spindle. When you mount the brake line you will need to use 2 washers on the banjo bolt if not it's gonna leak everything else is pretty much bolt on
