Lets see your pics of your BBK setups!

Post info about any additional parts required, wheel specs, spacers, or what wheels didn't clear you specific setup!

Stoptech Wheel Fitment Guide: http://www.stoptech.com/docs/wheel-fitment-templates/98-436-2430-02_FP

This "should*" work with majority of the different calipers on the market.
***using should loosely. I am not to blame if it does not work. Please check with your desired manufacture (if not Stoptech) on their caliper overall sizes and dimensions.

Kit or Parts Sourced: 2005 - 2012 Acura RL BBK
Sourced - What parts are required?

2006 - 2012 Nissan Maxim Rotors (could probably use 2004 - 2005 rotors as well)
(EBC USR Brake Rotors Part#7218USR [for 2004 - 2005 Part#7220USR])

2005 - 2012 Acura RL Brake Pads
(EBC Green Stuff 2000 Series Part#DP21735) [you'll get squeal even after break in]

OR

(EBC Ultimax2 Part#UD1091) [haven't tried these yet]

2008 - 2012 FastBrakes Acura RL Caliper Adapter Kit

2008 - 2012 Goodridge SS Brake Lines (Part#20007)

3mm or 5mm Spacers

Total Cost: $1,600

Wheels:

Will Fit: Honda 18" Rims (will still need 3 - 5mm spacers)

Will Not: Unsure if 17" Rims will fit or not, not taking the chance to damage the powder coat

anyone have a firm answer as to whether or not the RL BBK will clear the OEM 18s? I am looking at getting a RL kit and have 20" summer rims that will clear no problem but i usually through my 18s on for the winter and I'm wondering if i will run into any fitment issues.

@jonathane say's they will fit but need a 3-5mm spacer in the post above.

For the stock wheels 18x8 +55 you will need at minimum a 15mm spacer. I have a 20mm and it clears no problem, but that is what I already had.
