well it took me long enough but i am finally getting around to making my build thread

i picked up my 08 Honda accord EX-L NAV Coupe 5-spd manual in October 2013

it had a new clutch and some body work done before i picked it up and man was it beautiful.



so after a few weeks of having it i did a cruse of the maine coast with my car club before winter hit.


so then i began modding it to make it mine.
hids went in ( and have been replaced with better quality hids from the retro fit source)



so then i got good news in relation to my career and moved off to Milan IL for my position at John Deere cylinder as a manufacture engineer, also my plates were finally switched over
so i packed my stuff up and moved on out



so then i got a mugen rep grill and painted it chrome like so and ran that for a couple of months





fogs were installed as well


found a used greddy cat back exhaust for it and i jumped on the deal



then my wheels came in Enkie GP5"S in silver machined finished 18x8 +40 offset




and whats wheels with out a drop so megan ez's coils were installed quickly after



and man did it set my car off great




did the roof and lip spoiler next and spoted an stock accord later that day to compare against


got tired of that grill so i tried something different and.....well....it was different






didn't really car for it so i got another black mugen grill and rocked that fro a while while i came up with something better.
meet up with some other accord guys during a meet out here and got some great pics






cam up with another idea and tried it i liked the look but i need to redo the painting on it


i suffered from the dreaded arm rest bubble so i fixed that as well,



so then i went to Import alliance for the weekend so i preped the car and rove down



had a blast there and actually met some other 8th gen owners there

these cars can actually hold a ton of stuff. i got all 4 wheels 4 struts and rear control arms all in with no problems


our last get together for the year called fall tour, had a blast doing this and will do it again


and added my own twist to the led light bar and added 5 way function to it with white and red leds

Next is retrofitted headlights and then I'm working on custom led tails. I'm doing a gold and black paint theme under the hood. Spare valve cover is already being powder coated gold as we speak. Sway bars front and rear. Skunk 2 downpipe and If I can find one, making my greddy exhaust dual, but I can't find a muffler that matches the one I have. And then the cherry on top is when or if we get boost tables with the k tuner I'm going to be doing a ct-engineering supercharger with meth injection. Goal is 300-350 to the wheels. And that's pretty much it for now.

so just bought all the stuff i will need to add halos and demon eyes to the accord. thanks to our great vendors i got
1 set of 90mm halos kit for low beams rgb


1 set of 100mm expansion kit halos rgb


1 red halo switch

1 blue halo switch

1 blue power switch


2 red leds for demon eyes and 2 blue leds for demon eyes

cant wait to start the fun
