Hello everyone,
My name is Richard from Florida. I am currently working as a Process Engineer driving my 2008 LX-S daily. This car has a lot of sentimental value as it was my first real car. Before this I drove my parents old vehicles (Nissan Sentra and Toyota Corolla) but as a graduation present to myself from Colorado School of Mines I bought my first car. It was surprisingly difficult to get the car I wanted, even to the point it needed to be special ordered and built at the Honda Factory and transported into the dealership. I ended up getting the Belize Blue Pearl exterior with the tan interior with an automatic transmission. I chose automatic because I was moving to Houston and it's notorious traffic in August. I received my car on July 1st of 2008 and to this date have driven over 142000 miles.

In 2011,my then fiancée was driving my car to visit her mother and got into a major accident on the way. She was run out of her lane by a drunk driver and slammed into another car that for some reason was stopped in the middle of the road with no lights on. Nearly $10000 worth of repairs later my car was back to near new.

I keep my car pretty much stock as it is my daily driver and my daughter takes up any extra money I may have. I recently had the bad luck of road debris taking out my condenser so I have a Denso condenser in my garage waiting to be put in and I will probably apply one of the many ideas for protecting the condenser in the future while I am at it.

Even though I can't really use my car to drive my daughter around, we have a 2014 CR-V for that purpose. I have no intentions on getting rid of my car anytime soon since it was not only a graduation gift to myself but the first car I shopped for, chose, and bought.
