Hey guys I just joined the forum. I've been doing some work on my 08 V6 coupe. The catback recently became detached from the j pipe, as the guy that had the car before me put on a shitty long tube j pipe with weak flexion. I was forced to remove the catback, and was running with just the j pipe dumping out. I figured since I still have my precats on, I would have sufficient backpressure to prevent a burnt cylinder head or loss of compression. Well, that shitty flexion broke now and is dragging on the ground but is still somewhat attached. What would be the consequences of running with just the precats dumping out until I get my new exhaust set up? It's shipping now, a new J pipe and ATLP catback. Thanks!
