Wouldn't see why the fog lights wire on your car matter. If you going to run HIDs, you should only worry about the bulb size.

Thats why i said use a long zip tie. Its stiff enough to go through but not hard enough to puncture anything.

Negative sir. That might require more then just wires. Might require resistors.
